Counterintelligence Directorate (Directorate II)
Textual records created in the course of Czechoslovak counterintelligence activity targeted against the external and internal adversaries (between 1953-1964 and 1974-1988, exclusively against the external enemy). Until the year 1953, materials stem from the provenance of the StB headquarters and its successors. Negotiation protocols, organizational regulations, negotiations of the chief’s staff, work plans and evaluations, situation reports, ordinary agendas, etc., have been preserved.
