Jana Poddaná appointed as new director of the Security Services Archive
Prague, 17 December 2010 – Following discussions by the Institute Council, the current director of the State District Archives in Pardubice, Dr Jana Poddaná, was today appointed as director of the Security Services Archive.
The Institute’s director Daniel Herman chose her for the post on the basis of a recommendation by a selection committee led by the director of the Czech Interior Ministry’s Archiving Administration and Filing Department, Dr Vácslav Babička. Jana Poddaná is to take up her post as of 1 January 2011 for a five-year period of tenure.
